Ok, so updating my blog has been hard for me because the few precious moments I get online, I want to read other people's blogs and check my e-mail ... and then I am done. But I wanted to let everyone know that baby Jace is good and healthy (except for a bit of reflux) and so FREAKING adorable. My favorite thing about him are the faces he makes - when he stretches in the morning he squints his eyes. sometimes even moves his mouth all the way over to one side. He makes this little 'O' with his mouth that is adorable. sometimes he 'smiles' even though he doesn't realize that's what he's doing. he's such a great baby - goes to bed at night, eats well, is pretty content. don't take me wrong I am exhausted from having lack of sleep, and def get frustrated, but really it's so much better than I ever imagined. I love this little man to death. Josh is such a great dad and husband. He does most things around the house, he helps out with Jace - takes him when he's been crying in my ear for awhile, he's even fed him a bottle twice. (I am breast feeding, but I pump and he gets a bottle once in awhile.) Jace is just barely right now growing out of his 'newborn' size clothes and into the 0-3 months size. he's probably about 9&1/2 lbs, maybe more? who knows...?? I get pictures soon from when he was 2 weeks - and I will FOR sure be posting them all.
I also want to send a quick shout out to all my friends for their support. Thank you so much for the well wishing, the gifts, the food etc. Please, if you did not get an individual thank you, or a thank-you note in the mail, please understand it was not because of lack of trying, or because of lack of appreciation, simply because a brand new baby has consumed my time. but I really do appreciate it and love you.
